Hello
My name is Annie, I am an artist based in Ayrshire, Scotland. I have been working on my skills from a young age by giving myself new challenges to achieve a greater sense of realism in my work.
At ABray Art I offer commissioned artwork, working from photographs of your furry friends to create pieces of art you can display with pride.
My Story
My name is Annie Bray, I'm 28 years old and have a beautiful daughter named Emma. She is my number one supporter and my best friend. We always love to have girly shopping days followed by a donut and a chat. My husband is called Danny an amazing videographer No73 Media and worked extremely hard from a young age to build his videography business and now runs a very successful video production business. Danny gave me the confidence to follow my passion and start my Art business and has supported me every step of the way.

So a little bit about me , I have always been fascinated by realism in art, the way that artists make their work look so realistic amazed me. Throughout my childhood I always remember having a pencil in my hand. I remember sitting in art class and drawing while I ate my sandwiches. It was a way I could escape the rollercoaster of teenage emotions. I studied art at college and then changed to fashion because I thought there would be better career prospects but turns out sewing machines just frustrate me and I don't have the same patience with them that I do for a pencil!
After getting married and having my daughter at 21, I worked in retail and make-up sales. I made some lovely friends who I still stay in touch with but I just didn't feel like I was following my passion and spending my time correctly. So here we are, I have honestly never felt happier than I am now, getting to do something I love is such a blessing.
